3 Terms and definitions

This standard applies the following terms with the corresponding definitions.

3.1 foil: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness from 0.05 to 0.10 mm, supplied in coil.

3.2 tape: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness from 0.10 to 6.00 mm inclusively, supplied in rolls or cut to length (strip) with a cut edge.

3.3 sheet: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness: cold rolled — from 0.20 to 12.00 mm inclusively, supplied in segments with cut or rolled edge; hot — from 3.00 to 25.00 mm inclusively, supplied in segments.

3.4 plate: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness over 25,00 mm, supplied in segments.

3.5 camber: the Deviation from straightness, in which the surface of the side edge of the foil, ribbon or sheet in a horizontal plane has the shape of an arc.

3.6 deflection (warpage): Private view of the deviations from flatness in longitudinal or transverse direction, wherein the surface of the tape, sheet or plate has an arc shape.

3.7 cut end Squareness, mm: — compliance with the form in which the cutting plane forms with the longitudinal plane of the sheet or plate angle less than or greater than 90°.

4 Assortment

The weight of the batch is not limited.

Allowed to issue a single document the quality of several batches of foil, ribbons, sheets or plates of one brand of copper, one size, one state, one precision and method of manufacture, shipped to the same consumer, indicating the batch number.

6.2 To control the size, appearance, camber and deflection of the foil, ribbons, sheets, plates; skew cutting of sheets, strips, cut into lengths, and panels used a single-stage normal sampling plan for the alternative characteristic in accordance with GOST 18242 with the acceptance level of defects AQL=4%.

The selection of rolls of foil and ribbons, sheets, tapes, cut to length, and flags in the sample is carried out «blindly» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321.

If the quantity does not exceed three rolls of foil, tapes, or three sheets, strips, cut into lengths, and flags, checked each roll of foil tape or every sheet, tape, cut to length, plate.

The length of the foil or tape in a roll to select the number of measurement points in the coil is determined by the formula (2) given in 7.4.

6.5 To measure the thickness at each selected tape, cut into lengths, or the stove, or the selected sheet, the number of measurement points is determined depending on the total number of parcels with a length of 100 mm along the perimeter of the tape, cut to length, sheet or plate in accordance with table 16. If the perimeter is not a multiple of 100 mm, the end section of a length less than 100 mm is taken for one site.

Under the control of the width, length, appearance, skew cut, camber, and deflection of a party is considered usable if the number of rolls of foil, tapes or strips, cut into lengths, sheets or plates that do not meet the requirements 4.9, 4.10, 4.14, 4.15, 5.2, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, tables 3, 5, 7, less than the acceptance number specified in table 14.

If unsatisfactory results at least one of the controlled rolls of foil, ribbon or sheet, tape, cut into lengths, the plate is carried out continuous monitoring of the entire party.

Allowed the manufacturer to control the thickness, width, length, and quality of surface carried out in the production process.

6.7 To check the chemical composition is taken two rolls of foil, tape, two ribbons, cut to length, two sheets, or two plates taken from the party.

Allowed to the manufacturer of the sampling carried out by the molten metal.

6.8 For tensile tests (strips and sheets), bending (strip, cut to length, and leaves), hood spherical dimples (tape) and determine the amount of grain (tape) from the party taken three rolls of tape, three strips, cut into lengths, three leaves from every full or partial 1,000 kg batch of strips, cold rolled sheets and strips, cut to length, and 5000 kg batch of hot-rolled sheets.

In the production of enlarged coils of strips by welding is permitted the manufacturer to tensile tests, the hood of spherical wells and determination of grain size from batch to take three rolls of each complete and incomplete 3000 kg batch.

6.9 If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the performance indicators specified in 6.7, 6.8, thereon, a second test of the doubled sample taken from the same batch. The results of repeated testing are spreading to the entire party.

7 Methods of inspection and testing
