This standard applies to aluminum wire rod obtained by continuous casting and rolling for the manufacture of wire and other electrical purposes.

The standard specifies requirements for aluminum wire rod, manufactured for the needs of national economy and for export.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).

1. AND SIZES

1.1. Rod should be made of five brands:

ACLP-M — soft;

AKLP-PT — semi-solid;

ACLP-T1 ACLP-T2 ACLP-T3 — rigid.

Depending on the specific resistance of the DC soft and semi-hard wire rod made of the first, second and third class, solid — first and second classes.

In the first and second grades, the specific resistivity is determined by wire rod;

in the third grade — specific electrical resistivity is determined on an outstretched rod of annealed wire.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).

1.2. The diameters of the rod and limit deviations thereon shall be as specified in table.1.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Rod accepted by the parties. The party should consist of a rod of the same class, the same trademark, one or more trunks and one size.

Each batch of wire rod is accompanied by a quality document in which you specify:

trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;

the diameter of the rod;

brand rod;

the room melt;

electrical resistivity;

mechanical properties;

the weight of the batch;

batch number;

the number of bays in the party.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).

3.2. Checking for compliance with the requirements of PP.2.2; 2.8 and 2.9 should be in every Bay rod and PP.1.2; 2.1; 2.3; 2.10 — 2% bays, but not less than one Bay from the party.

Checking for compliance with the requirements of PP.2.6 should be 2% of the bays, but not less than two bays from the party.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 2, 3).

3.3. Check for compliance with the requirements of section 2.3 in the part of electrical resistivity of wire rod in the third grade, PP.2.6 and 2.9 in terms of sticking of the turns should be made from the consumer.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).

3.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators for him to repeat the test at twice the number of bays taken from the same batch.
