This standard sets used in science, engineering and manufacturing of terms and definitions in the field of bent profiles of rolled products made by the method of bending roll forming units of ferrous and nonferrous metals and alloys.
The standard establishes terms and definitions in the field of the assortment of roll-formed profiles, produced by stamping and drawing.
Terms set the standard mandatory for use in all types of documentation, scientific, technical, educational and reference literature.
For each concept has a single standardized term. The use of terms — synonyms of the normalized term is prohibited. Unacceptable for use synonymous terms given in the standard as a reference and is marked with the note «NDP».
For certain of the standardized terms in the standard is shown as reference their short forms that may be used in cases precluding the possibility of their different interpretation.
Installed definitions can, if necessary, change the form of presentation, preventing trespass of concepts.
In the standard as reference given foreign equivalent standardized terms in German (D) English (E) and French (F) languages.
The standard lists the indexes contained in this term in the Russian language and their foreign equivalents.
The standard is a reference app that contains the terms and definitions of elements of roll-formed profiles of rent.
Standardized terms are shown in bold and invalid synonyms in italics.
