This standard applies to sheets of low-alloy alloys of the zinc used for the manufacture of forms of single-stage and multistage etching.

1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. Sheets of low-alloy alloys of zinc must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard technical documentation, duly approved.

1.2. Basic parameters and dimensions

1.2.1. The thickness, width, length of leaves and tolerances for thickness, width and length shall be as given in table.1.

1.2.2. Thickness variation (difference of thickness within a single sheet) of sheets shall not exceed:

0.04 mm for sheets of high accuracy;

0.06 mm for sheets of normal accuracy.

1.3. Features

1.3.1. Depending on the chemical composition and assignment sheets are divided into sheets with fine grain structure for single-stage etching (MicroLink) and leaves for the multi-stage etching.

Depending on the type of processing the working surface the leaves are divided into unpolished, honed, polished and coated with a protective film and without it.

Depending on the type of treatment outside of the surface of the leaves fall into the sheets with protective coating and without protective coating.

1.3.2. Sheets for single-stage etching should be made of low alloy zinc alloy brand CMP, chemical composition of which shall be as given in table.2.

Sheets for multi-stage etching shall be made of zinc brand C2 LOGEST 3640−79 with a mass fraction of lead of 0,4−0,7%.

1.3.3. The working surface of the sheets must be flat, smooth, clean, free prisoner (sunsets), dents, cracks, scratches, bubbles, inclusions, oxides or other foreign matter, corrosion and waviness.

1.3.4. On the working surface sanded sheets are allowed minor defects in the form of shallow scratches, dents and other defects that can be removed with a cleansing abrasive paper grit no more than 50 GOST 6456−82.

1.3.5. Working surface polished sheet should be uniformly polished.

Burnished leaves on both sides should be cleared of traces of polishing paste and rubbed.

On the working surface polished sheet allowed traces of Stripping minor defects and scratches abrasive paper grit no more than 20 according to GOST 6456−82.

1.3.6. On the polished surface of the sheet is allowed neopalymivka in places clamps polishing machine with a maximum size of 20x25 mm.

1.3.7. On the working surface ground sheets allowed traces of Stripping sandpaper grit 40 according to GOST 6456−82 perpendicular to the direction of grinding. For sheets of normal manufacturing precision allowed for minor defects: injections not more than five on the list and dents with a depth of not more than 0.02 mm and not more than five to a sheet with a diameter of 2 mm.

1.3.8. The roughness of the working surface polished sheets ГОСТ 18326-87 Листы из низколегированных сплавов цинка для одноступенчатого и многоступенчатого травления. Технические условия (с Изменением N 1)should not be more than 0.40 µm according to GOST 2789−73.

1.3.9. Non-working surface of the sheets without a protective coating should be smooth, smooth, without foreign inclusions, sunsets, bubbles, scratches and cracks.

On the outside surface of the sheets with thickness up to 1.5 mm inclusive are allowed small bubbles with a diameter of 1 mm, the minor risks, dents, sunsets, and other defects that are within half of the maximum deviations in thickness.

On the outside surface of the sheets with thickness over 1.5 mm permitted small bubbles with a diameter of 2 mm, the risks of dents (no more than six dents to a depth of 0.3 mm and a diameter up to 3 mm), sunsets, and other defects that are within the limit deviation on thickness. The distance between two adjacent indentations should be at least 5 mm.

1.3.10. The leaves should be cut at right angle without significant burrs and cracks.

Deviation from Squareness (inclination of cut) shall not exceed 4 mm for 500 mm length.

Allowed sheet size 500х600 mm deviation from Squareness not exceeding 6 mm in not more than 15% of the batch weight.

1.3.11. Leaves microzine for single-stage etching in the conditions of optimum etching process must meet the requirements:

a) profile of the printing element in the result of the etching must be correct trapezoidal with a smooth surface of the lateral faces angle at the base of 40−80°;

b) the initial etching rate (the solubility of zinc) should be not less than 0.05 mm/min;

1.3.12. The macrostructure of sheets for multi-stage etching should be uniform with a maximum grain size not exceeding 0.5 mm and average grain size of not more than 0.3 mm.

1.3.13. Hardness should be: sheets for single-stage etching is at least 50 HB; for sheets of a multi — stage etching not less than 40 NV.

1.3.14. Permissible deviation from flatness shall not exceed 2 mm, Waviness of the sheets is not allowed.

1.3.15. The sheets are produced with a surface protective film or uncoated with a protective film.

Protective film should be applied to the entire working surface of the sheet evenly, without bubbles, craters and foreign inclusions. The layer thickness of the protective film should be not less than 0,008 mm.

Protective film should be freely removed from the surface of the sheet. On the edge of the sheets allowed places not covered by tape with width up to 10 mm.

1.3.16. Sheets are produced by surface acid-proof protective coating or without it.

Non-working surface of the sheets with protective coating should have a uniform coating. The thickness of the protective coating shall be not less than 0.02 mm are Not allowed lumps of coating, bubbles and uncovered spaces.

On the entire surface of the sheet is allowed no more than five scratches or scratches of length 20 mm and width up to 0,5 mm, not more than five gaps with a diameter of 3 mm and sheets with thickness more than 1.5 mm — no more than six dents with a depth of not more than 0.3 mm and a diameter of not more than 3.0 mm.

1.3.17. The composition of the protective film and acid-proof protective coatings, their application must meet regulatory and technical documentation.

1.3.18. The protective coating should be thermally stable (change of shade coverage), there should not be fragile, brittle and flake off from the substrate, should not break down and soften when exposed to a 17% solution of nitric acid, 2% sodium hydroxide solution, the mixture of molten salts KPOГОСТ 18326-87 Листы из низколегированных сплавов цинка для одноступенчатого и многоступенчатого травления. 1.4. Marking

1.4.1. On a non-working surface of each sheet shall be marked:

a) the mark for technical control;

b) designation of sheets;

C) arrow indicating the direction of rolling (CMP);

d) the blue band on the end of each sheet (for the brand of zinc C2).

1.5 Packing

1.5.1. The leaves are supposed to add in pairs of working surfaces inside with a strip across the surface of the paper GOST 8273−75 or paraffined paper GOST 9569−79, then placed in a dry tight wooden boxes according to GOST 16511−86, lined inside with waxed paper cardboard according to GOST 9347−74 on the bottom of the box and on top of the leaves. This should be provided dense packing, excluding the movement of leaves in the box.

The leaves should occupy a horizontal position.

Dimensions of boxes — GOST 21140−88 or according to normative-technical documentation.

Weight of cargo must not exceed 80 kg.

Consolidation packages to transport packages weighing up to 1 ton should hold mechanized in accordance with the requirements of GOST 21929−76, 24597−81 GOST, GOST 26663−85.

Packaging on pallets according to GOST 9557−87 or without pallets using the bricks of size not less than 50X50 mm and a length equal to the width of the boxes in accordance with the requirements of GOST 26663−85.

Transport packages must be wrapped in at least three places with wire diameter not less than 4 mm according to GOST 3282−74 or tape not less than 0,5h30 mm churchyard 3560−73. The ends of the strapping are held together with wire twist for at least five turns of tape to the castle.

Packing of packages sent to the far North and remote areas shall be carried out according to GOST 15846−79 the group metals and metal products.

1.5.2. Each box must be attached to packing list stating:

trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;

the legend sheets;

date of issue;

the number of sheets;

the weight of the party;

batch number;

stamp of technical control.

1.5.3. Transport marking — according to GOST 14192−77.

Each package is applied to manipulation signs «Afraid of dampness," «Caution, fragile», «Top, do not turn over» in accordance with GOST 14192−77.

Each package in a place free from markings applied to the batch number and year of manufacture.

2. ACCEPTANCE

2.1. The leaves take parties. The party must consist of sheets of one brand and one bottoms, one precision manufacturing, one type of surface treatment, the same size and be furnished by a single document about quality that contains:

trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;

designation sheets;

the number of sheets;

the results of chemical analysis;

the results of the tests (at the request of the consumer);

batch number;

the weight of the party;

stamp of technical control.

2.2. Check the size and condition of the surface subjected to each sheet of the party.

2.3. To check width, length, thickness variation, flatness and Squareness of the party is selectively taken 10% of the leaves, but not less than five leaves.

2.4. To check the thickness of the protective film and the protective coating is taken two leaves from the party.

2.5. To check the chemical composition of the party select the two sheets. Allowed the manufacturer to verify chemical composition to acquire a sample from the liquid metal.

2.6. To determine the hardness, roughness, testing travelmasti and control the resistance of the protective coating selected two leaves from the party.

2.7. To check the macrostructure of sheets for multi-stage etching from each party select the two sheets.

2.8. If unsatisfactory results of the inspection of dimensions, Squareness and flatness for sheets comprising not more than 5% of the batch weight, leaves not satisfying the requirements of this standard are rejected.

If the number of sheets not satisfying the requirements of this standard, exceeds 5% of the mass of the party, rejected the whole batch.

2.9. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators (the macrostructure of travelmasti, hardness, chemical composition, durability of the protective coating outside the surface) it is carried out re-tests on twice the number of sheets selected from the same batch.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

3. TEST METHODS

3.1. The surface condition of the sheets is checked without the use of magnifying devices.

3.2. Measurement of the thickness of the sheets is carried out at a minimum distance of 30 mm from the vertex of the angle and not less than 10 mm from the edge not less than four points.

Measurement of the thickness of the sheets is carried out with a micrometer according to GOST 6507−78. Allowed to use other tools that provide the necessary measurement accuracy.

The thickness of the sheets is measured with no protective film. The thickness of the sheets with protective coating off the surface is measured with a protective coating.

The thickness of the protective film and the protective coating is also determined by using a micrometer according to GOST 6507−78 measurement of the thickness of the sheets before and after application of the protective film and the protective coating.

3.3. Measurement of the width and length of sheets is carried out at both ends of the line leaves the graveyard 427−75.

Squareness (cosine Reza) check a square according to GOST 3749−77.

3.4. The selection and preparation of samples for chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 24231−80.

3.4.1. The main components in the alloy grade CMP is determined by normative-technical documentation.

3.4.2. Chemical analysis of zinc brand C2 and impurities in the CMP is carried out according to GOST 19251.1−79 -GOST 19251.6−79 or GOST 17261−77.

3.5. Test travelmasti carried out according to normative-technical documentation.

To determine travelmasti select a sample no larger than 500х650 mm.

3.6. The flatness is carried out using the indicator according to GOST 9696−82, mounted on a bracket and movable parallel to the plane of the marking plate according to GOST 10905−86 or metal ruler according to GOST 427−75 using the calibration line according to GOST 8026−75 measurement of the deviation of the plane of the sheet from the marking plates.

3.7. To determine the hardness of a metal selected two samples from each control sheet batch.

The hardness of the sheets is determined according to GOST 9012−59 ball with a diameter of 2.5 mm with a test load 153,2 N (15,5 kg) and duration of 30 s.

3.8. To determine the macrostructure (grain size) sheets to a multistage etching and durability (thermal, mechanical and chemical) protective coating of leaves from each control sheet batch are selected based on two sample size 50х150 mm.

3.9. Control of grain size of the sheets is carried out according to GOST 21073.0−75 and GOST 21073.1−75 on the sample pre-annealed at a temperature (250±5) °C with exposure at this temperature for 15 min after etching (immersion to a depth of 30 to 60 mm with a duration of 3 to 5 min) in reagent composition: 1000 g of chromic anhydride (CDFГОСТ 18326-87 Листы из низколегированных сплавов цинка для одноступенчатого и многоступенчатого травления. 3.11. The mechanical strength of the protective coating is determined by the demand of the consumer in the following ways:

bending samples in the direction of the working surface on the mandrel radius of 20 mm;

drawing on the side of the sample, covered with a protective layer, an aluminum rod with a radius of curvature of 5 mm.

3.12. To determine the chemical resistance of protective coatings to the effects of nitric acid and sodium hydroxide used samples designed to determine travelmasti.

Chemical resistance protective coatings is checked as follows:

resistance to nitric acid is determined by immersing samples for 30 minutes in a 17% solution of nitric acid at room temperature;

resistance to sodium hydroxide is determined by immersion for 15 min in 2% sodium hydroxide solution, the temperature of which must be to 20 °C. the Test is carried out on the same samples used to test the effect of nitric acid;

3.13. Roughness control is carried out according to the requirement of the user on a single control sheet, which is missing or removed protective film. Supervision is provided by the profilometer according to GOST 19300−86.

4. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

4.1. The transportation of the sheets is carried out by all types of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules applicable to the transport of the species.

Transportation of packages allowed in light-duty or medium-duty containers according to GOST 18477−79.

4.2. Packed and unpacked sheets should be stored vertically in dry and covered premises free from hazardous vapors and gases.
