1 Scope

This standard applies to cold-drawn capillary tube of circular cross section made of copper and brass used in propose hypersound or ultras and instrumentation and refrigeration equipment.

The requirements of this standard in terms of tube sizes (section 4) is mandatory.

The standard specifies the dimensions, technical requirements, acceptance rules, methods of control and testing, marking, packaging, transportation and storage tubes.

3 Terms and definitions

This standard applies the terminology according to GOST 32597, as well as the following terms with respective definitions:

3.1 tube: a Hollow product of round or polyhedral in cross section, having a uniform nominal wall thickness.

3.2 nominal wall thickness: wall Thickness specified in the order.

3.3 Bay: Cut product wound into a series of continuous turns right not mixed up in rows, with no sharp bends.

3.4 measuring length: Specific length of the product, specified in the order, straight leg, or in the Bay.

4 Assortment

4.1 Capillary tube are made of groups A and B. the scope of the tubes listed in Appendix A.

4.2 conditional Outer and inner diameters of the tubes of group A, as well as tolerances for outside diameter shall be as specified in table 1.
