1. OBJECT AND SCOPE
This standard gives the basic definition of weldability for metallic materials with all welding processes, various types of structures and any properties that they must satisfy.
Note. Including all possible cases that are possible as a result of the combination of four variables: material, process, design style and purpose, each definition can be found.
2. THE DEFINITION OF WELDABILITY
The metal material is weldable to the prescribed extent with these processes and for this purpose, when weld metal integrity is achieved with the appropriate technological process to the welding of the part met the technical requirements in relation to their own qualities and in relation to their impact on the structure they form.
