4 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

4.1 the Metallic zinc is non-toxic and pozharovzryvobezopasnost.

In the process of getting zinc when sampling from liquid metal at the interaction of molten zinc with the oxygen in the air to produce an aerosol of zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is one of the substances 2-hazard class. The maximum permissible concentration of zinc oxide in workplace air is 0.5 mg/mГОСТ 3640-94 Цинк. Технические условия.

4.2 General safety requirements when working on machine tools — according to GOST 12.2.009.

4.3 Work with zinc, you must perform the following personal protective equipment: respirator type «Petal» according to GOST 12.4.028; goggles according to GOST 12.4.013 GOST or 12.4.023; overalls for 12.4.045 GOST, GOST 12.4.100 or GOST 12.4.131; footwear by GOST or GOST 28507 12.4.032; the means of protection according to GOST 12.4.010.

4.4 safety Requirements during loading and unloading — according to GOST 12.3.009 and GOST 21399.

4.5 Control of air of working zone on the content of zinc oxide is carried out according to GOST 12.1.016.

5 ACCEPTANCE RULES

5.1 Zinc taking parties. The party should consist of zinc to one brand and feature a document about quality that contains:

name of enterprise-manufacturer and its trademark;

the name of the product and its brand;

part number (fusion);

the weight of the batch;

the results of chemical analysis;

the date of manufacture;

the designation of this standard.

5.2 Each batch of zinc is subjected to acceptance tests for compliance with the requirements of 3.2−3.7.

5.3 Checking the quality of the surface subjected to all pigs and blocks within the party.

5.4 To control the chemical composition of the zinc alloy can be selected as from molten metal and ingots and blocks.

5.5 To control the chemical composition of zinc ingots mark CV00 a sample taken from each pig party.

To control the chemical composition of the ingots zinc brands CV0, CV, C0A, C0, C1 are selected 1% of the ingots, zinc grades C2, C3 — 2% of pigs, not less than three pigs from each batch.

To control the chemical composition of a sample of units selected from each of the second unit.

5.6 Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of analysis of the chemical composition of at least one of the indicators of repeat analysis on a double sample for zinc CV00 — at twice the sample taken from the same batch.

Results re-analysis apply to the entire party.

5.7 quality assurance fracture surface of zinc ingots manufacturer conducts periodic on demand of the consumer on five ingots of the party.

5.8 Mass fraction of impurities of aluminium, arsenic and antimony are guaranteed by the manufacturer within the limits of normalized parameters and are determined by the requirement of the user.

6 METHODS TO CONTROL

6.1 Selection and preparation of samples from molten metal is carried out by ensuring the representativeness of the sample received for analysis.

6.2 General requirements to selection and preparation of samples for chemical analysis from the ingots and blocks — GOST 24231.

For obtaining spot samples zinc brand of CV00 in the midline pig: vegetable cutter, after a preliminary cleaning of the surface to a depth of 0.3−0.5 mm, remove the chips.

Spot samples of other brands of zinc are taken by drilling, milling or sawing.

The sample blocks were taken by cutting two opposite diagonal corners for the entire height of blocks.

The mass of laboratory samples for zinc brand CV00 should be at least 0.1 kg of zinc to other brands — not less than 0.5 kg.

6.3 Chemical composition of zinc brand CV00 determined by regulations. Mass fraction of cadmium in zinc brand CV00 is determined according to GOST 17261, arsenic — GOST 19251.4.

Chemical composition of zinc other grades is determined according to GOST 17261, 19251.1 GOST-GOST 19251.6.

Allowed to use other normative documents on methods of analysis of samples, if their accuracy is not inferior to the indicators stipulated by the applicable standards.

6.4 In the case of disagreements in the evaluation of the chemical composition evaluation was carried out according to GOST 17261, 19251.1 GOST-GOST 19251.6.

6.5 Monitoring of the surface quality of ingots and blocks and kink pigs is carried out visually, without the use of magnifying devices.

7 TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

7.1 Transporterowych zinc by all kinds of transport in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this form, and mail parcels.

Stowage and securing of cargoes transported by rail, must comply with the technical conditions of loading and fastening of cargoes, approved by the Ministry of Railways.

With marine transportation shall be performed in accordance GOST 26653.

7.2 Zinc brand CV00 stored in closed premises in the manufacturer’s packaging without contact with a metal corrosive substances and dust.

Zinc other brands keep indoors. Be stored zinc of these brands on specially prepared platforms (concrete, wood flooring, pallets, etc.) without metal pollution and contact with aggressive substances.

8 MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

8.1 the Manufacturer guarantees the conformity of zinc to the requirements of this standard if the conditions of transportation and storage.

8.2 the Warranty period of storage of zinc is 15 years from the date of manufacture.

Upon expiration of the warranty period prior to use, the products must be checked for compliance with the requirements of this standard.
