This standard applies to steel fittings with zinc coated and uncoated with cylindrical thread serving for the connection of water and gas pipes with application of sealant in heating, plumbing, and gas lines and other systems operating in conditions of aggressive environments (water, saturated steam, combustible gas, etc.) carried out at a temperature environment not higher than 175 °C and pressure P = 1.6 MPa.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Fittings are made of good saarivuoma steel according to GOST and GOST 380−71 1050−73.

2.2. Surface (external and internal) of the connecting parts should not have cracks, captivity and fistulas. On the surface of connecting parts is allowed flaws (the edges of the locknut — utiny from forming on the surface of the opposite reference marks of the rolls, the risks of clamping wedges, and Cams threaded tools, etc.), not deducing wall thickness for maximum deviations. For blunting sharp edges allow for the processing of connecting parts before applying thread in tumbling drums.

2.3. Galvanized outer and inner surface of fittings must have a continuous smooth coating of zinc (the thread and the ends are galvanized not) without spots, puzyrchatogo inclusions and oxide films. Allowed small local roughness and nodules on the outer and inner surfaces, with the exception of the flaking of the coating from the base metal. On the inner surface of allowed yellow or dark spots with a total area not exceeding 5% of the entire inner surface.

2.4. Threaded fittings must be performed according to GOST 6357−81 (class b), chamfering the inner thread — according to GOST 10549−80. Allowed to reduce height of the profile at the expense of its vertices, but not more than 15%.

Note. By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer at 100% tumbling before cutting chamfering is additionally not made.

2.5. External threads allowed a reduction of the useful thread length (without taper) up to 10%.

2.6. Within the useful thread length permitted incomplete threads and ripped threads, if in total they amount to no more than 8% of the required thread length.

2.7. The deviation between the axes of the sleeves shall not exceed 1°.

2.8. The couplings both end surfaces, and the lock nuts one end surface side of the bevel should have a roughness parameter ГОСТ 8965-75 Части соединительные стальные с цилиндрической резьбой для трубопроводов Р=1,6 МПа. Технические условия (с Изменением N 1, с Поправкой)µm according to GOST 2789−73 and being perpendicular to the axis of the cuts. Deviations should not exceed 1°.

2.9. End surfaces of the couplings and nipples must be perpendicular to the axes of the passages. The deviation must not exceed 1°.

2.10. The following maximum deviations to the construction of the lengths of the fittings:

± 1.5 mm for lengths up to 50 mm;

±2.0 mm for lengths over 50 mm to 100 mm;

±2.5 mm for lengths over 100 to 200 mm.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. The connecting part apply to the acceptance of the parties. The game shall consist of fittings of the same size, one grade of steel and be accompanied by one document on quality according to GOST 10692−80.

The mass of the party — no more than 1 T.

3.2. The selection of units of products to ensure their quality is carried out by random sampling from different locations of the party.

3.3. The appearance test shall be subjected to each connecting part of the party.

To check the appearance of fittings, made of pipes that have passed 100% quality control by physical methods without destroying or 100% hydraulic test, taken not less than 1% of fittings from the party.

3.4. To control thread sizes are selected not less than 40 fittings from the party.

3.5. Squareness of end the plane of the axis of the passage, alignment of the axes of the threading, the outer diameter and length selected for at least 10 fittings for each type of test.

3.6. To check the quality of the zinc coating (thickness and continuity) select at least 5 of the connecting parts of the party.

3.7. To test the strength of fittings are selected not less than 1% of fittings from the party.

3.8. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-testing at twice the sample.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. The inspection of the surface (outer and inner) is performed visually.

4.2. Size control thread passing caliber is carried out according to GOST 1623−61. When checking the thread no-go gauge-tube winchest shall be not less than 3.5 turns, and lock nuts — no more than one turnover.

4.3. The alignment control axes of the thread and perpendicular to the plane of the mechanical axis of the passage is carried out according to GOST and GOST 24642−81 24643−81.

4.4. Connecting parts (except lock nuts) test the strength of a test by hydraulic pressure GOST 356−80 during the time required for inspection, but not less than 2 min.

Note. Fittings are made from pipes that have passed 100% quality control by physical methods without destroying or 100% hydraulic test after the manufacture of hydraulic test pressure are not exposed.

4.5. The quality of the galvanized coating fittings check with GOST 3262−75или according to GOST 9.302−79 depending on the method of application of the coating.

5. MARKING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Marking, packaging, transportation and storage steel fittings — according to GOST 10692−80.

5.2. Fittings no cover, and thread galvanized fittings during transportation must be protected from corrosion.
