Can be applied other rules of sampling does not reduce the representativeness of the sample. The manufacturer guarantees the gold content in the ingot according to the requirements of 4.2.1.

5.4 If necessary, the determination of chemical composition of gold from the customer can be carried out on samples taken from any two bars of the party (bottoms) by drilling in the opposite corners of the ingot to a depth equal to half the thickness of the ingot.

Allowed as a sample to use the ingot, the surface of which is prepared in accordance with the requirements of the document on method of analysis.

(Changed edition, Rev. No. 1).

5.5 Checking the quality of the surface (4.2.2), mass (4.2.3) and labelling (4.3) subjected to every ingot.

5.6 checking the quality of the packing (4.4), including documentation, are subjected to 100% of the party bars.

5.7 Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of analysis of the chemical composition (4.2.1) a second check for twice the number of samples selected from the same batch. The results of the repeated checking are final and apply to the entire party.

5.8 If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition of gold from the manufacturer and the customer to carry out the arbitration samples, which are selected in the manner prescribed in 5.2 and 5.3. The shelf life test samples not less than 30 calendar days from the date of shipment, unless otherwise provided by the terms of the contract.

(Changed edition, Rev. No. 1).

5.9 Sizes of ingots is controlled once a month on a single ingot from the same batch.

(Added, Rev. No. 1).

6 Methods to control

6.1 determination of the chemical composition of gold performed according to GOST 27973.0, 27973.1 GOST, GOST 27973.2, GOST 27973.3, 53372 GOST R, GOST R 52599 and/or other methods, certified in the prescribed manner and providing the requirements of this standard.

6.2 the weight of ingots is carried out on scales meeting the requirements of GOST OIML R 76−1 and providing the required accuracy.

Allowed to use other means of mass measurement provided that the applied weights are high (II) or the special (I) accuracy class according to GOST OIML R 76−1 part of the error of weighing.

6.1, 6.2 (New edition, Rev. No. 1).

6.3 Control of the surface quality, marking, and packaging ingots is carried out without the use of magnifying devices.

6.4 Sizes of ingots measured by Vernier caliper according to GOST 166 or a metal line GOST 427.

Allowed the use of other measuring instruments providing the required accuracy.

(Added, Rev. No. 1).

7 Storage and transportation

7.1 Storage and transportation of ingots of gold carried out in accordance with established requirements [1].
