Shavings from cutting the test bars should be included in the combined sample.

If the mass of the chips obtained from the cutting test bars will not be enough to perform the measurements and in the case of cutting of the ingots required by the mill to remove with a diagonal cut (cutoff) trial bars for more chips. The cutter should rotate at a speed that prevents oxidation of copper without the use of artificial cooling measures.

Allowed sampling chip lead methods of drilling or sawing.

The selection of chip drilling trial of the ingot is carried out through a drill bit with a diameter of not less than 15 mm at five points equally spaced on the upper surface of the ingot.

The selection of chips from a test ingot sawing is carried out by repeated sawing of the ingot along the diagonal. The number of cuts must be odd. The cuts are evenly placed on both sides of the ingot. The distance between the cuts should be no more than 5 mm. sawing is carried out using band saw machines.

Each fraction should be mixed thoroughly and divided into three parts. One part of these samples (both fractions separately) should be sent to the enterprise consumer, the second on the analysis in the laboratory of the manufacturer, the remnants of the test bars and the third part of the sample should be stored at the factory for three months for a control or arbitration analysis.

Trial bullion demand must be sent to the consumer.

7.1.6 Samples (chips) Packed in paper bags according to GOST 2228, plastic bags or polyethylene film according to GOST 10354 or wooden boxes according to GOST 2991 or mail order boxes according to the normative documents approved in the prescribed manner shall be sent to the enterprise consumer not later than 10 days from the date of shipment bottoms. In an accompanying document attached to each box must be specified: the number of packets, number of samples, the weight of the sample.

7.2 the Chemical composition of the blister copper should be determined according to GOST R and GOST 55685 25086.

In the sample for analysis must include both classes in proportion to their output when sieving.

It is allowed to apply other techniques of measurements, the certified according to GOST R 8.563 equal precision specified in GOST R and GOST 55685 25086.

The differences in the definition of the mass fraction of elements in the blister copper are used procedures of measurement GOST R and GOST 55685 25086 Measurements are taken at the arbitration trial the manufacturer.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

7.3 the Mass of blister copper ingot is determined by weighing on the scales with the measurement error not more than 0.1%.

7.4 Each ingot of crude copper should be inspected. Bullion for compliance 3.1.7 should be checked using the means of measurements of geometrical quantities with a scale division of 1 mm or template.
