2. By agreement with the consumer allowed in bismuth brands Vi1 mass fraction of lead of not more than 2.5%, silver is not more than 0.2% bismuth brand Vi2 — mass fraction of silver is not more than 0,45%.

1.2.3. The bismuth used in the manufacture of lead-bismuth alloy in which lead is a component of the allowed mass fraction of impurities of lead not to limit it.

1.2.4. Bismuth made:

brands Vi00, Vi1 and Vi2 in the form of ingots, weighing not more than 16 kg;

brands Vi00 and Vi2 is in the form of granules cross-sectional dimension of 1−5 mm and a length of 10 mm. Mass fraction of particles of class minus 1 mm should not be more than 2%.

1.2.5. The surface of ingots shall not have slag and foreign inclusions.

1.3. Marking

1.3.1. On each of bismuth ingot casting or stamping to indicate:

trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;

the brand of metal;

the melting number.

1.3.2. Transport marking under GOST 14192.

1.4. Packaging

1.4.1. Ingots of bismuth wrapped in paper according to GOST 8273 and placed in wooden boxes of types I, II-1, III-1, III-2 according to GOST 2991. Gross weight — 500 kg.

Allowed packaging of bismuth at the two bars in the bag from packaging holstoproshivny fabrics (from silk waste production) or other dense fabric made according to normative-technical documentation. The mass of bismuth in cloth bags not exceeding 30 kg.

In every box or bag put a packing slip showing:

the trademark or name of manufacturer and its trademark;

name or code of the products;

net mass;

batch number;

designation of this standard.

1.4.2. Granulated bismuth brands Vi00 and Vi2 are placed in bags according to GOST 30090, then placed in boxes of the type I according to GOST 2991.

2. ACCEPTANCE

2.1. Bismuth take parties. The party should consist of bismuth to one brand and feature a document about quality that contains:

trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;

the name of the product and its brand;

batch number;

the weight and number of seats in the party;

the results of the analysis;

the date of manufacture;

the designation of this standard.

2.2. The appearance test is subjected to each ingot of the party.

2.3. To check the mass and chemical composition of ingots of bismuth, chemical composition and grain size of granules of bismuth from the party taken every thirty ingot or bag, but not less than three ingot or bag.

The manufacturer is allowed to conduct sampling from the liquid metal uniformly in the beginning, middle and end of the filling melting.

Mass fraction of iron in bismuth of all brands the manufacturer shall define periodically at least once per month.

The mass fraction of cobalt and manganese in bismuth brand Vi00, the manufacturer determines at least once in six months.

2.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators, repeat tests are carried out at twice the sample taken from the same batch. The results of repeated tests spread to the entire party.

3. TEST METHODS

3.1. The selection and preparation of samples for chemical analysis of bismuth is carried out according to GOST 24231.

Sampling from liquid metal manufacturer is conducting a test casting of ingots weighing from 14 to 16 kg.

Allowed spot samples from the granulated bismuth to take a shovel made of organic glass according to GOST 10667 or vinyl plastic GOST 9639. Pre-granulated bismuth from the bags poured onto a clean surface, distributed evenly on the surface layer with a thickness of 50 mm and sampled from the conditional squares with sides of 100 mm.

Selected joint trial if necessary cut to obtain a sample weighing not less than 2 kg.

A laboratory sample of mass not less than 750 g crushed to a particle size of 1−2 mm, divided into two equal parts, placed in polyethylene or paper bags in which to put the labels with the date of sampling, batch number and brand of metal. One part of the samples send for analysis and the other stored at the factory for 6 months.

3.2. Particle size distribution determined by sieving using meshes N 10, 5 and 1 according to GOST 3826.

3.3. The chemical composition of the bismuth is determined according to GOST 16274.0−16274.5 GOST, GOST 16274.7, GOST 16274.8.

3.4. The surface quality of ingots of bismuth checked by visual inspection, the mass — weighting.
