This standard applies to hot-rolled bars, forged and with special surface finish of precision alloys for elastic elements.

1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. The bars are subdivided:

the method of manufacture:

hot-rolled;

forged;

with special surface finishing;

the quality of the surface of rods with special surface finishing:

B, C, D, E.

1.2. Maximum size of bars depending on the brand of alloy shall be as specified in table.1.

Note. Rods of other dimensions are manufactured according to GOST 2590, GOST and GOST 1133 14955по agreement between manufacturer and consumer.

1.3. Bars at the dimensions, limit deviations and shape must match: hot rolled — standard-accuracy GOST 2590; forged — GOST 1133; with special surface finish GOST 14955, with a diameter of from 1.0 mm to 5.0 mm incl. — qualiteam h8, h9, h10, h11 diameter of 6.0 mm or more qualiteam h11, h12.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Bars from precision alloys, for the elastic elements must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

2.2. The chemical composition of the alloys shall conform to GOST 10994.

2.3. The bars are made without heat treatment.

By agreement between manufacturer and user bars are made in the soft (annealed) state.

2.4. The surface of hot-rolled and forged bars shall not have cracks, sunsets, captured.

Allowed small slivers, risks, dents and sunsets, the depth is not exceeding the limit deviations of the diameter or side of square.

2.5. Allowed Stripping of defects, the depth of Stripping shall not withdraw the rods beyond the minimum cross-section.

2.6. The surface of bars with special surface finish should sootvetstvovat 14955 groups B, C, d, E.

2.7. The macrostructure of bars should not have shrinkage cavities, porosity, delaminations, foreign inclusions and cracks.

2.8. Mechanical properties of bars shall be as specified in table.2.

2.9. At customer’s request bars are made:

with the definition of elastic characteristics: modulus of normal elasticity, limit of elasticity and the thermal coefficient of the modulus of elasticity;

with the determination of grain size in the hot-rolled bars and rods with special surface finishing;

definition of contamination of metal non-metallic inclusions.

Note. Norms set by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.

2.10. Physical and mechanical properties of alloys for elastic elements is given in Appendix GOST 14117.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1 Bars take parties.

The party must consist of one of bars and bottoms of the same size and decorated by one document on quality.

3.2. To check the quality of bars from the party taken:

to determine the chemical composition — GOST 7565;

of pollution control nonmetallic inclusions, macrostructure, mechanical properties, impact strength, grain size — two rods;

to control the size and surface quality — 100% of bars;

to determine the roughness or five bars.

3.3. If unsatisfactory results of repeated tests are the churchyard 7566.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. The diameter and shape of bars to check a caliper according to GOST 166, micrometer churchyard 6507 or staples according to GOST 2216 in two mutually perpendicular directions in at least three places.

The length of the rods check metal ruler according to GOST 427.

4.2. Chemical composition of alloys determined according to GOST 12344 — 12357 GOST, GOST 12361,12365 GOST, GOST 28473 or other methods providing the required accuracy. Sampling — according to GOST 7565.

4.3. To determine the mechanical properties, grain size, surface roughness taken on two samples from rod to control the contamination of non — metallic inclusions in three samples from rod.

4.4. The surface quality of the forged and hot-rolled bars and check by visual inspection. If necessary, the depth of the defect determine the micrometer depth gauge according to GOST 7470 or other instruments providing the required accuracy, or Stripping prior to the removal of the defect. The location of the defect cleaned with sandpaper or a file, followed by a comparative measurement in the stripped and unstripped areas.

Control of surface quality of bars with special surface finishing is carried out according to GOST 14955.

4.5. Control of macrostructure in two templete — GOST 10243.

Note. Bars one of melting, have passed the tests of macrostructure in large cross-sections in the manufacture in smaller sections, these tests may not expose.

4.6. The mechanical properties determined according to GOST 1497 on two short heat-treated samples. Sampling for mechanical tests according to GOST 7564, option 1.

4.7. Test for impact strength is carried out according to GOST 9454 on two samples of a type 1−10 with the hub view ГОСТ 14119-85 Прутки из прецизионных сплавов для упругих элементов. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2).

4.8. The grain size is determined according to GOST 5639 on two samples.

4.9. Air pollution control non-metallic inclusions is carried out on 6 samples of the churchyard 1778 by the method of SH1 or Ш4.

4.10. The method of determining the elastic properties determined by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer.

5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Packing, marking, transportation and storage — by GOST 7566.

5.2. Bars Packed in bundles.

5.3. Bundles of rods with special surface finish should be wrapped in waterproof paper GOST 8828, 9569 GOST, GOST 10396 or other normative and technical documentation, packaged in wooden boxes, manufactured according to GOST 2991 (for types I or II) or according to normative-technical documentation on the basis of GOST 2991, lined the inside with waterproof paper according to GOST 8828 or other regulatory-technical documentation. Overall dimensions shall not exceed 150х150х1300 mm.

By agreement between manufacturer and user is allowed bundles of rods with special surface finish to wrap one or more layers of paper according to GOST 8828, 9569 GOST, GOST 10396 and film according to GOST 10354, GOST 16272 or container holstoproshivny canvas churchyard of 14,253, non-woven cloth, stitched the flap of waste textile industry or other types of packaging materials according to normative-technical documentation, with the exception of cotton and linen fabrics.

Packed in bundles must be tied with wire according to GOST 3282 or other normative and technical documentation or tape according to GOST 3560, GOST 6009 or other normative and technical documentation or some other way to protect the packs from unwinding.

5.4. Bars should be stored in a dry place at temperature from + 5 to + 40 °C at a relative humidity of 80% in the absence of air in alkaline, acidic and other aggressive contaminants.

5.5. When you ship two or more packages to one user should proceed with consolidation packages in accordance with the requirements of GOST 21650, GOST 24597.

5.6. Bars transporterowych all types of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of transportation of cargoes effective for this transport, the stowage and securing of cargo shall be made in accordance with the conditions of loading and fastening of cargoes, approved by the Ministry of Railways of the USSR. Allowed transportation on open rolling stock.

5.7. Weight of cargo space with mechanized loading and unloading in open vehicles must not exceed 5 m, at the indoor facilities — 1250 kg With manual loading and unloading weight of the package (package) must not exceed 80 kg.

6. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

6.1. The manufacturer guarantees the conformity of bars the requirements of this standard when complying with the storage conditions.

Warranty period — 15 years from date of manufacture.
