5.3 To control the chemical composition of the selected four-lane or four rolls of ribbon from the party.

5.4 To control the camber taken two strips or two rolls of tape from the party.

5.5 To determine the grain size and resistance to hydrogen embrittlement select one lane or one roll of tape from each of 300 kg the party, but at least two strips or tapes from the party.

5.6 If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the performance indicators specified in 5.3 to 5.5, it is carried out a re-test of the doubled sample taken from the same batch. The results of repeated testing are spreading to the entire party.

6 Methods of control and testing

6.1 the Inspection of the surface of the strip is carried out visually without the use of magnifying devices.

6.2 the thickness of the strip is measured with a micrometer according to GOST 6507.

The thickness of the strip is measured at a distance of not less than 50 mm from the end and not less than 5 mm from the edge with a width of more than 20 mm For belts with a width of 20 mm or less, the measurement is performed in the middle.

Thickness measurement is carried out from both ends and in the middle of the strip.

6.3 the Width and length of strip measured by Vernier caliper according to GOST 166, measuring with a metal ruler according to GOST 427 or metal measuring tape according to GOST 7502.

The width measurement is carried out in a single place at a minimum distance of 100 mm from the end of the strip.

6.4 the Camber of the strip is measured according to GOST 26877 in one place on any site.

6.5 To determine the chemical composition of the selected one sample from each selected strip. The selection and preparation of samples for chemical analysis is carried out of the churchyard 24231.

Chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 13938.1 — 13938.13 GOST, GOST 31382, GOST 9717.3. General requirements for methods of analysis should correspond to GOST 25086.

Allowed to the manufacturer of the sampling carried out by the molten metal.

6.6 To determine the amount of grain from each selected strip or the selected roll of tape is cut one sample and annealed at a temperature of 600 °C for 1 h. the Average grain size determined according to GOST and GOST 21073.0 21073.1.

6.7 For the determination of the resistance against hydrogen embrittlement from each tape selected for the test cut samples of 10 mm width and a length of (100+10) mm in the direction of plastic deformation.

Of strips of a thickness more than 2 mm samples are made by cold rolling or mechanical cutting in the direction of the deformation.

The samples cut from the strips must have the following dimensions: a thickness — 2 mm, width 10 mm and length — (100+10) mm.

Determination of the resistance against hydrogen embrittlement was carried out according to GOST 24048 method of annealing in hydrogen at a temperature of (850±25)°C for 30 min, followed by a test on excess or metallographic control. If there is disagreement in the evaluation of resistance against hydrogen embrittlement determination is carried out metallographic control.

Visual inspection of the annealed in hydrogen samples on the surface should be no blisters and cracks.

The samples shall withstand without breakage into two parts is not less than 10 bends at 180° in the plates the radius of curvature, equal to 2.5 times the thickness of the sample.

Samples for metallographic control should be cut so that the plane of the cone was parallel to the direction of plastic deformation, one of the sides must not be machined.

Observation under a microscope is carried out at 200 x magnification. At the grain boundaries in the microstructure should be free of pores and cracks.
