The Change No. 6 adopted by the Interstate Council for standardization, Metrology and certification (minutes dated 24.05.2001 N 19). The state developed by Russia. By the resolution of Gosstandart of Russia of 17.12.2001 N 531-St introduced on the territory of the Russian Federation with 01.03.2002 and published in IMS No. 3, 2002

Change 6 N entered the law office of «Code» in the text IUS N 3, 2002

This standard applies to steel closed bearing ropes for General purposes.

Mandatory requirements to quality ropes, ensuring the safety of life and health set out in PP.1.13, 1.15, 1.16, 1.18, 1.20, 3.2, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 6).

1A. CLASSIFICATION

Definition of neraskruchennosti the top layer of shaped wires is carried out at a distance of at least half of the step lay from designated segments.

3.5. Test wires tensile (p.1.16) is carried out according to GOST 10446.

At 100% strength test, the total breaking strength of the rope (p.1.20) determine the amount of explosive efforts of all wires. If the sampling test, the total breaking strength of the rope is defined as the sum of the average values of discontinuous efforts the tested wires of different sizes on the number in the rope.

The correspondence of the calculated temporary tear resistance of the wires specified in the order (p.1.20), check the value of the total breaking strength of the rope, obtained by testing wires, divided by the estimated area of the rope specified in the relevant standard assortment.

Transportation ropes by rail produces carload or small shipments.

During transportation of the rope wound on the drum, the axis of the latter must be parallel to the platform that has the rope.

4.7. Storage of the ropes — the terms 5 GOST 15150. When storing the rope wound on the drum, the axis of the latter must be parallel to the surface on which a rope.

4.5−4.7. (Changed edition, Rev. N 3).

4.8. During long-term storage ropes should be periodically, at least every 6 months, inspect the outer layer and lubricate the cable with grease.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 5).
