The surface color is dark ribbon is not regulated. On the surface of the tape allowed the dark stains of pollution.

2.9. On the surface of the tape should not be captured, katanoi scale, okatannyh metal particles, rips and rust. Allowed a single prisoner, and some small scratches, scratches, fingerprints, rabini, the value of which does not exceed:

for bright and bright with flowers or ribbon — half of the limit deviations on thickness;

for the dark strip — tolerances for thickness.

2.8, 2.9. (Changed edition, Rev. N 4).

2.10. The roughness parameter of the surface light strips should be no more than ГОСТ 2283-79 Лента холоднокатаная из инструментальной и пружинной стали. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2, 3, 4)1,25 microns according to GOST 2789.

2.11. On the cut tape are not allowed ragged edge and notch depth of more than half of the limit deviations on width and burrs — more maximum deviations in thickness of the tape normal accuracy.

2.12. On the uncut tape is not allowed on the ragged edge of the depth tolerances for the width of the tape.

2.13. Striping tapes is not allowed.

2.14. Cropped tape is manufactured with a camber not exceeding on the segment of length 1 m:

5 mm for tape widths from 10 to 18 mm incl.;

4 mm — for tapes with a width of over 18 to 25 mm incl.;

3 mm for belt width 25 St to 50 mm incl.;

2 mm — for tapes of width over 50 mm.

By agreement between manufacturer and consumer clipped the tape is manufactured with a camber not exceeding 1 m length:
