3.3 the Length of the tapes should be at least 5 m.

Allowed ribbons of lesser length but not less than 1.5 m in amount of not more than 10% of the batch weight.

At the request of the consumer the production of strips of length less than 5 m are not allowed.

At the customer’s request tape from cupronickel MN19 brand solid state from Nickel silver brand MNC15−20 soft and hard state thickness of 0.13−0.45 mm high precision, intended for products of switching equipment, produce length less than 70 m.

4 Technical requirements

4.1 Tape manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the present standard of cupronickel MN19 brand of Nickel silver brand MNC15−20 and from Manila brand Nmzhmc28−2,5−1,5 according to GOST 492.

4.2 Strips of Nickel silver are manufactured in soft and hard conditions, of Nickel-silver — soft, half hard, hard and extra hard conditions and from Manila — in the soft and semi-solid States.

4.3 the surface of the tape must be clean, i.e. free from contamination, hinder the inspection, and should not be captured, cracks, bubbles, holes, tears and dents.

Allowed color of a tint, local redness and minor darkening, traces the technological lubrication and minor local defects — pricks, scratches and roughness, if it does not take the tape at reference sweep for tolerances for thickness.

On tapes of cupronickel MN19 and stamps Nickel silver stamps MNC15−20 thickness of 0.13−0.45 mm, intended for products of switching equipment and precision instrumentation, are not allowed local injections and stratification, as well as the color of the tint and darkening.

Permitted surface quality control samples are agreed between manufacturer and user.

4.4 Tape should be trimmed evenly and must not have significant (GOST 15467) burrs. Wrinkled and ragged edges are not allowed. Slight (GOST 15467) waviness, disappearing with a control loop around the mandrel.

4.5 Camber strips shall not exceed 3 mm per 1 m length.

At the request of the consumer, camber strips of Nickel silver and Nickel silver thickness 0.15−0.45 mm high precision, intended for products of switching equipment, must not exceed 1 mm per 1 m length.

4.6 Mechanical properties of strips shall be as specified in table 3.

— Nickel silver brand MNC15−20 high ductility with elongation in the soft state is not less than 33 per cent for strips of thickness less than 0.5 mm and not less than 36% for tapes with a thickness of 0.5 mm or more, in a semi-solid state at least 6 per cent for strips of thickness less than 0.5 mm and not less than 12% for tapes with a thickness of 0.5 mm or more.

5 acceptance Rules

5.1 Tape take parties. The party should consist of tapes of the same brand of alloy, one size, one precision manufacturing, one state and must be issued a document about quality that contains:

is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;

— the symbol of the tape;

the results of mechanical testing (at the customer’s request);

— the batch number;

— date of manufacture;

the weight of the party.

5.2 To control the size, appearance, and camber are used single-stage normal sampling plan for the alternative characteristic in accordance with the acceptance level of defects AQL=4%*.

The selection of rolls of tapes in the sample is carried out «blindly» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321.

If the quantity does not exceed three coils, checked each roll of ribbons.

5.3 the Number selected to control the thickness of the coils of strips is determined in accordance with table 4.

The length of the tape in a roll to select the number of measurement points in the coil is determined by the formula (1) given in 6.3.

Selected roll of tape is considered valid if the number of measurements that meet the requirements of table 1, less than the acceptance number given in table 5.

5.4 To control the width, appearance, and camber of the party selected coils in accordance with table 6.

Party is considered valid if the number of coils not satisfying the requirements of tables 2 and 4.3−4.5, less than the acceptance number given in table 6.

5.5 Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of the measurements in 5.3 and 5.4 at least one of the monitored coils batch is rejected.

Allowed the manufacturer to monitor each roll of the party.

Allowed the manufacturer to carry out thickness control in the production process.

5.6 To control the strength and elongation are taken from three rolls each full or partial 1,000 kg of the party.

5.7 To control chemical composition selected from the party two rolls.

Allowed to the manufacturer of the sampling carried out by the molten metal.

5.8 If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the figures 5.6 and 5.7 it is carried out a re-test of the doubled sample taken from the same batch. The results of repeated tests spread to the entire party.

6 Methods to control

6.1 control the size, appearance, and camber is carried out with a given probability 96% (acceptance level of defects AQL=4%).

6.2 appearance of the tapes checked by inspection without the use of magnifying devices.

6.3 the Thickness of the tape is measured with a micrometer according to GOST 6507 or lever micrometer churchyard 4381.

The measurement of the thickness of the tape is carried out at a distance of not less than 10 mm from edges and not less than 100 mm from the end of the tape. For tapes with a width of 20 mm or less, the measurement is performed in the middle of the tape.

The thickness of the strip measured at each selected coil to points positioned uniformly randomly along the length of the roll.

The measurement is carried out in a single place at a minimum distance of 100 mm from the end.

6.5 Camber of the tape measure according to GOST 26877 in one place on any area of the roll.

6.6 Waviness of the strip edges check bending it around a mandrel with a diameter of 100−120 mm. If the ripple does not disappear, the roll of tape is rejected.

6.7 Selection of samples for tensile tests carried out according to GOST 24047.

To test the tensile tape from each selected roll cut on the same model.

If the entire party is made of one (bolshevising) roll, take two samples from the party.

Tensile test on strips of thickness less than 0.5 mm is carried out on samples of type I or II with ГОСТ 5187-2003 Ленты из мельхиора, нейзильбера и монеля. Tensile test on strips of width less than 20 mm is carried out on samples having a width equal to the width of the tape, with the edges of samples can be processed mechanically.

6.8 Sampling for chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 24231.

To analyze the chemical composition of each selected coil cut on the same model.

Chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 6689.1 — 6689.22 GOST and GOST 6689.24.

Allowed to carry out chemical analysis by other methods of equal precision specified.

If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 6689.1 — 6689.22 GOST, GOST 6689.24.

6.9 permitted the manufacturer to use other methods of control and measurement tools, providing the necessary accuracy.

If there is disagreement in the definition of indicators monitoring is carried out by methods specified in this standard.

7 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage

7.1 Tape must be rolled into rolls. Rolls of tape needs to be wrapped in paraffined paper GOST 9569 or other materials, ensure quality safety of products, and Packed in wooden boxes of types I, II, III according to GOST 2991, GOST 10198 gasket wood shavings or other materials that protects the tape from damage.

At the customer’s request inner diameter of the transported rolls hard and extra hard strips 0.4 mm thick and over shall be not less than 500 mm.

The inner diameter of the coils of strips with thickness from 0.13 to 0.45 mm with a length of 70 m or more from cupronickel MN19 and stamps Nickel silver stamps MNC15−20 intended for products switching equipment, shall be not less than 300 mm.

The winding of the tape should eliminate the changing shape of the coil under the action of gravity.

7.2 each roll of tape shall be attached a label showing:

— trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;

— the legend of the tape;

— batch number;

the stamp of the technical control rooms or technical controller.

7.3 Transport marking under GOST 14192 with the application of manipulation sign «Protect from moisture».

7.4 Consolidation packages in overpacks carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 26663. Means bonding in the transport packets according to GOST 21650.

7.5 Packaging is carried out on pallets according to GOST 9557 or GOST 9078 or without pallets with the use of bars not less than 50 mm, with the piping in the longitudinal and transverse directions with wire of diameter not less than 2 mm according to GOST 3282 or tape not less than 0,3x20 mm according to GOST 3560. Binding: wire — stranding at least 5 turns of tape to the castle.

Weight of cargo must not exceed 2000 kg. Weight of cargo space in covered wagons should not exceed 1250 kg.

7.6 it is allowed to transport rolls of soft tapes with a thickness of 0.5 mm, half hard, hard and extra hard of ribbons with thickness of 0.25 mm or more, wrapped in paper or synthetic or non-woven materials, ensure quality safety tapes in specialized containers or General purpose containers according to GOST 15102, GOST or GOST 18477 20435 without packaging in boxes.

During transportation in containers, rolls of tapes must be laid and fastened in such a way as to prevent their movement in the container. Rolls of tapes must be protected from corrosion, contamination and mechanical damage.

7.7 permitted to use other types of packaging and packaging materials not inferior in strength to the above and ensure quality safety of products.

7.8 Packaging tapes sent to the far North regions and equated areas according to GOST 15846 in the group «Metals and metal products."

7.9 Tape transporterowych all types of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.

7.10 Tape should be stored in covered premises. When storing or transporting the tape must be protected from mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical substances.

At the consumer tapes should be kept in stock in the original package within one day to equalize the temperature of the strips to the room temperature. At the expiration of the tape needs to be unpacked.

Under specified storage conditions consumer properties of tapes in storage are not changed.
