(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

3.3. To check the chemical composition of the selected two rolls from the party.

Allowed the manufacturer to test the chemical composition of the sample taken from the molten metal.

(Added, Rev. N 1).

3.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators, it conducted a re-test at twice the sample taken from the same batch.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. Inspection of the wire surface is carried out without the use of magnifying devices.

4.2. Measurement of wire diameter and ovality is carried out in two mutually perpendicular directions of the same section of a micrometer according to GOST 6507−90 or other tool to ensure the required measurement accuracy.

4.3. For the tensile test from each selected coil cut out one sample from both ends of a coil. Sampling for tensile tests carried out according to GOST 24047−89.

Mechanical properties of the wire determined according to GOST 10446−80.

4.4. To obtain the fracture wire subjected to bending with a bend around the roller with a diameter of 10 mm.

Inspection of the fracture is carried out without the use of magnifying devices. To check break take one sample from both ends of each selected roll.

4.5. To determine the chemical composition of each selected coil cut on the same model. Selection and preparation of samples for the determination of chemical composition is carried out in the churchyard 24231−80.

The chemical composition of the wire is determined according to GOST 1652.1−77 — GOST 1652.3−77, GOST 1652.6−77, GOST 1652.7−77, GOST 1652.13−77, GOST 25086−87, GOST 9716.1−79 — GOST 9716.3−79 or other methods providing the required accuracy.

If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition wire analysis is carried out according to GOST 1652.1−77 — GOST 1652.3−77, GOST 1652.6−77, GOST 1652.7−77, GOST 1652.13−77,GOST 25086−81, GOST 9716.1−79 — 9716.3 GOST-79.
