ambient temperature from plus 1 to plus 40 °C;

relative humidity not more than 95% at a temperature of 20 °C.

Environment should not contain vapors of acids and alkalis, harmful acting on the insulation of the burner.

2.3. Design of the burners must ensure reliable gas protection of the weld of welded joints.

2.4. Control valve the supply of inert gas must be located on the burner housing.

In the closed position of the valve the gas leak is not allowed.

2.5. All parts and connections of the water cooling system must operate reliably when the water pressure is from 1.5 to 3 kgf/cmГОСТ 5.917-71 Горелки ручные для аргоно-дуговой сварки типов РГА-150 и РГА-400. Требования к качеству аттестованной продукции. The nominal mode of operation of the burners shall be provided at a pressure of 1.5 kgf/cmГОСТ 5.917-71 Горелки ручные для аргоно-дуговой сварки типов РГА-150 и РГА-400. Требования к качеству аттестованной продукции.

2.6. Insulation of burner shall withstand without breakdown for 1 minute a sinusoidal test voltage of 1200 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.

2.7. Insulation of the burner shall be designed for operation of the welding device with application of the oscillator.

2.8. Details of burners, made from plastic, shall have a smooth surface, i.e. without blistering, cracking and delamination. The roughness of outer surfaces of molded parts should not be below ГОСТ 5.917-71 Горелки ручные для аргоно-дуговой сварки типов РГА-150 и РГА-400. Требования к качеству аттестованной продукции6 GOST 2789−59. Place connector mould and the part edges should be smooth, with no bevels.

2.9. The temperature rise of the outer surface of the arm above the ambient temperature with a welding current and duration of the work specified in claim 1.1, should not be more than 50 °C.

2.10. Package burners should include:

ceramic nozzles — 1 set.;

the water-cooled metal nozzle, only for burner RGA-400 — 1 PC.;

caps -1 set;

collets -1 set;

user manual and technical description — 1 copy.;

passport — 1 copy;

General arrangement drawing — 1 copy.

2.11. The following shall be the reliability and durability:

average life — 2000 hours;

average uptime — 500 hours;

availability — 0,96.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. To check burners for compliance with the requirements of this standard, the manufacturing enterprise must carry out control and inspection testing.

3.2. Check tests for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs.2.1−2.8, 2.10, 5.1−5.4 should be subjected to each burner.

3.3. To check on the welding current and gas protect the weld of a welded joint should be taken 1% from the burners of the delivered consignment, but not less than 3 pieces.

3.4. The manufacturer shall periodically carry out model tests of three burners each performance to ensure their compliance with all the requirements of this standard at least once a year. The burner shall be tested for 50 hours, but not less than 2 hours per shift with a welding current and duration of the work specified in claim 1.1.

Routine tests should be conducted at change of design, raw materials or manufacturing technology, if these changes may affect the quality or performance properties of burners.

For the type test choose burner tested to the extent provided in paragraph 3.2.

If unsatisfactory results at least one of the indicators, repeat tests are carried out at twice the number of burners taken from the same batch. If repeated trials at least one of the burners does not meet the requirements of this standard, the manufacturer of the burners should be terminated to identify and resolve defects.

After that model tests are carried out again.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. Checking for compliance with the requirements of the PP.2.1, 2.8, 2.10, and 5.1−5.4 carry out an external examination and measuring by using a measuring tool.

4.2. The electrical values shall be measured with instruments of accuracy class not less than 0.5.

4.3. To check the dielectric strength of insulation burner holder is placed in copper cradles. One end of the test transformer is applied to the cradle, the other to the live parts of the holder. During the test, the voltage should rise with 1/3 of the test to the full value. The upgrade must be done seamlessly or steps not exceeding 5% of the full voltage value, thus the time for rise of the test voltage from half to full value should not be less than 10 seconds. Test voltage withstand for 1 min, after which it is reduced by 1/3 values on and off.

4.4. To check the leakage of inert gas burner attached to a source of gas that creates pressure not less than 1.5 kgf/cmГОСТ 5.917-71 Горелки ручные для аргоно-дуговой сварки типов РГА-150 и РГА-400. Требования к качеству аттестованной продукции. Close the valve and holder of the burner is immersed in a water bath for 10−15 seconds. The presence of gas bubbles is not allowed.

4.5. Check the burner insulation breakdown for the oscillator is produced at the junction holder with a handle.

The oscillator should have the following main technical parameters:

power consumption — 20 W;

the frequency of the generated impulses — 440 kHz;

the amplitude of the voltage — 4000−7000 in.

4.6. Check for compliance with the requirements of section 3.3 shall be made by welding two samples of aluminum alloy with a length of 500 mm at maximum welding current specified in claim 1.1, and continuous operation.

If unsatisfactory results of the test shall be repeated on twice the number of samples. The results of repeated tests are final.

4.7. Check the temperature of the handle of the burner above the ambient air temperature is carried out by thermometer according to GOST 8624−64 on the modes specified in claim 1.1, and at steady-state heated condition.

4.8. Weight burners should be determined with an accuracy of ±10 g.
