This standard applies to the pull wire and extruded aluminium and aluminium alloys, designed for welding components and structures by melting.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Wire shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner, of aluminum and aluminum alloys, chemical composition indicated in table. 2.

2.2. Ovality of the wire should take its size for maximum deviations in diameter given in table. 1.

2.3. The surface of the wire with a diameter of 4.00 mm and less subjected to chemical treatment.

By agreement between manufacturer and consumer wire with a diameter of 4.00 mm and less are made without chemical surface treatment.

2.4. Wire with a chemically treated surface wound on reels in a mechanical way a series with no kinks or gaps.

The wire ends should reach the lateral surface and be easy to find.

The outer wound layer of wire should be at a distance of 5−7 mm from the outer diameter of the cheeks of the coils with a diameter of 100 mm and 10−12 mm for coils with a diameter of 200, 300 and 430 mm.

Wire without chemical treatment of the surface wind in the Bay right separatornyi rows without local buckling. Internal diameter of coil should be from 500 to 750 mm. Outer diameter should be no more than 1050 mm.

The height of the Bay must not exceed 150 mm. Mass Bay shall be not more than 25 kg.

Allowed wire extruded in the form of straight line segments with length from 1 to 2.5 m.

2.5. Wire manufactures cold-worked condition. By agreement between manufacturer and consumer wire produced in the annealed condition.

Notes:

1. In aluminum alloys, in addition to brands Svamg3, Svak5, Svak10, the ratio of the mass fraction of iron to the mass fraction of silicon should be greater than one.

2. Mass fraction of beryllium is established on the calculation of the charge and is provided by the production technology.

3. In aluminum alloys Svamg3, Svak10 allowed mass fraction of residual titanium to 0.15%.

4. The hydrogen content in the alloy brand Svamg6 should not be more than 0.4 cmГОСТ 7871-75 Проволока сварочная из алюминия и алюминиевых сплавов. 5. The column «other impurities» impurities contains rules which are not specified in the table. The presence of other impurities not determined and provided by manufacturing technology.

6. Customer’s request wire produced from the alloy grade Svak5 with a mass fraction of iron not more than 0.3% and marked additionally with an uppercase letter «U», adding it after the wire (Svak5u).

2.6. The dimensions of the coils and length of coiled wire shall be as given in the application.

2.7. The wire on the coils should consist of one segment. Allowed butt welding of the wire melting one, in this case, the coil should be no more than one joint, and the wire at the welding areas shall meet the requirements of this standard.

2.8. Wire with a diameter of 4.00 mm or less from alloy grades Sva99, Sva97, Sva85t, Sva5 and Svamc on the coils have a temporary tear resistance of not less than 100 MPa (10 kgf/mmГОСТ 7871-75 Проволока сварочная из алюминия и алюминиевых сплавов. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2)).

2.9. The wire should have a clean surface without captured, cracks, pinches, nicks, burrs, delamination and sharp bends.

On the surface of the wire allowed the local defects, color tint, dark and white spots, not bringing the wire at reference sweep for tolerances for diameter.

After chemical treatment the wire should have a shiny surface with the roughness parameters ГОСТ 7871-75 Проволока сварочная из алюминия и алюминиевых сплавов. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2)is not more than 2.5 µm according to GOST 2789−73.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Wire take parties. The party should consist of wire of one brand of alloy, of the same diameter, one bottoms, one state of material and is decorated with a single document about quality that contains: a trademark or the name of the manufacturer and trademark; the symbol of wire; a melting number; number of coils, coils or bundles; net mass of wire in the party; the actual chemical composition of the wire; the hydrogen content in the melt marks Svamg6 and Sv1201.

3.2. Check wire sizes are subjected to each coil, the Bay or the beam of the party.

3.3. Quality control of the wire surface is subjected to each coil, the Bay, or beam, of the party.

3.4. To check the chemical composition of the wire should be selected 3% coils, coils or bundles from each party, but at least two coils, coils or bundles.

On the manufacturer is allowed to verify the chemical composition of the molten metal.

3.5. To check the mechanical properties of the wire should be selected 2%, but not less than two coils.

3.6. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one indicator thereon, a second test of the doubled sample taken from the same batch.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

3.7. The integrity of packaging is subject to each pack.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. Wire diameter is measured with a micrometer according to GOST 6507−90 or GOST 4381−87 or bracket according to GOST 11098−75 in two mutually perpendicular directions in the initial and final sections of wire for each coil, bays or beam.

4.2. Sampling for the determination of chemical composition is carried out from both ends of each of the controlled coil, bays or beam.

Determination of the chemical composition of aluminium wires shall be carried out by chemical method according to GOST 12697.2−77, GOST 12697.6−77 — GOST 12697.10−77 or spectral method by GOST 3221−85; wire, of aluminium alloys by chemical method according to GOST 11739.1−90, GOST 11739.3−82, GOST 11739.5−90, GOST 11739.6−82, GOST 11739.7−82, GOST 11739.11−82 — GOST 11739.13−82, GOST 11739.17−90, GOST 11739.20−82, GOST 11739.21−90, GOST 11739.23−90, GOST 11739.24−82 or spectral method GOST 7727−81.

If there is disagreement in the assessment of chemical composition of aluminum wire from the analysis carried out according to GOST 12697.2−77, GOST 12697.6−77 — GOST 12697.10−77; wire of aluminum alloy according to GOST 11739.1−90, GOST 11739.3−82, GOST 11739.5−90, GOST 11739.6−82, GOST 11739.7−82, GOST 11739.11−82 — GOST 11739.13−82, GOST 11739.17−78, GOST 11739.20−82, GOST 11739.21−90, GOST 11739.23−90, GOST 11739.24−82.

4.3. The quality of the wire surface is determined visually, without the use of magnifying devices.

4.4. Determination of the roughness of the wire surface is carried out according to normative-technical documentation.

4.5. The definition of temporal resistance wire is carried out according to GOST 10446−80.

4.6. The tightness of the packing is evaluated visually by color and Packed along with it a controlling stake with the powder of dehydrated silicagel indicator. Tightness of the package should be considered broken if the powder silikagelya indicator is pink.

5. MARKING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Each coil shall be provided with a label containing the following information:

a) the trademark or name of the manufacturer and trademark;

b) designation of wire;

C) the batch number;

d) the mass of the wire;

d) date of chemical treatment and sealing.

5.2. Wire spool is placed in a plastic bag together with controlling powder dehydrated silicagel indicator (GOST 8984−75), which is sealed at a relative humidity less than 20% within 30 minutes after chemical treatment.

5.4. Sealed polyethylene bag Packed in cardboard, plastic or wooden boxes.

5.5. Each package attach a label, which indicate:

trademark or name of the manufacturer and trademark;

symbol wire;

the room melt;

the date of manufacture.

5.6. Transport marking — according to GOST 14192−77 with application of manipulation sign «Afraid of dampness». In the package with the wire in a sealed package is handling mark «Sealed package».

5.5, 5.6. (Changed edition, Rev. N 2).

5.7. Wire in coils and bundles are subject to preservation and packaging according to GOST 9.011−79, sec. 2.

Before the conservation of the Bay (between the inner and outer diameters) and bundles must be securely tied in at least three uniformly spaced from each other and places a soft aluminum wire or twine according to GOST 17308−88.

Wrapped bundles of wire placed in a tight wooden boxes of type III-2 according to GOST 2991−85.

Weight of cargo space when packaging the bundles in the boxes should not be more than 500 kg. the mass of the cargo Bay of the wire should not be more than 50 kg.

By agreement between manufacturer and consumer bundles of wire in the boxes connect to transport packages weighing not more than 1000 kg. overall dimensions of packages shall not exceed 3.0 x 0.5 x 0.5 m. the Packages linked in three to five places annealed wire according to GOST 3282−74 or tape according to GOST 3560−73.

When sending coves of wire shipped to one consumer, they combine into transport packets weighing no more than 600 kg. Packs linked in three to five places annealed wire according to GOST 3282−74 or tape according to GOST 3560−73. Overall dimensions of the bag must not exceed 1.1 x 1.1 x 0.9 m with mounting on the bars size 0.05 x 0.05 x 1.0 m, with maximum utilization of capacity (capacity) of cars on the height of 3.0 m.

5.8. Transportation of the wire is carried out by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to transportation of this species. Stowage and securing of cargoes transported by rail, must comply with the rules of loading and fastening of cargoes, approved by the Ministry of Railways of the USSR.

5.8. Packaging and transport of wire in the far North regions and equated areas — according to GOST 15846−79 groups 128 and 130.

5.9. Wire should be stored in the manufacturer’s packaging in covered warehouses.

6. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

6.1. The manufacturer guarantees compliance wire requirements of this standard, under the conditions of storage and transportation.

Guaranteed storage life of wire with a chemically treated surface for 1 year from the date of manufacture.
