1. This standard applies to steel lock nuts with zinc coated and uncoated with cylindrical thread serving for the connection of water and gas pipes with application of sealant in heating, plumbing, and gas lines and other systems operating in conditions of aggressive environments (water, saturated steam, combustible gas, etc.) carried out at a temperature environment not higher than 175 °C and pressure P=1.6 MPa.
2. The principal dimensions of lock nuts shall be as specified in the drawing and in the table.
