* The content of each impurity is not standardized.

Note — the Index «m» identificeret brand of silver bullion, calculated by difference between 100% and the actual amount of the defined impurities in the ingot is not applied.

4.2.2 the surface of the ingot must be free of grease, captivity, cracks, cavities, delaminations, burrs, slag and other foreign inclusions.

On the surface of the ingot cast performance allowed the existence of bare areas to a depth of not more than 1 mm. On the front surface of the cast ingot is allowed concavity, sinuosity, as a result of shrinkage during solidification of the metal.

The flip side of the extruded ingot can be made frosted.

4.2.3 Weight and ingots limit deviations from it shall conform to table 1.

4.3 Marking

4.3.1 the Marking is applied on the front side of each ingot and shall contain:

the inscription «RUSSIA» located in the oval;

— the nominal mass of ingot, g;

— the name of the metal «SILVER»;

— mass fraction of silver in the samples;

— trademark of the manufacturer;

number (code) of the ingot.

4.3.2 the Order of the markings on the ingot is given in Appendix A.

Notes

1 by agreement with the manufacturer details on the front side of the ingot can be performed in English in Appendix B. In the ingots with a mass of 50 grams and less is allowed to put an inscription: «MELTER ASSAYER».

2 On the ingot may be caused to the trademark of the customer or other symbols, as agreed upon with the manufacturer.

4.3.3 Marking of the ingot shall be clear, legible. Impression marking of the text on the ingot must be convex. On cast ingots impression may be depressed. Not allowed corrections labeling, merge letters and numbers.

The number of the ingot is set by the manufacturer and is done with a metal stamp. He, like other marking on 4.3.1, can be applied to a laser or other method.

Note — By agreement between manufacturer and customer the number of the ingot weighing 50 grams and less can be printed on the reverse side.

4.4 Packing

4.4.1 Each ingot Packed in the package of polyethylene film according to GOST 10354. The bars should be stacked in rows in plastic containers or wooden boxes, made by regulations. Each row in a plastic container or a wooden box should be separated from the next paper according to GOST 8273 and cardboard according to GOST 9347. Plastic containers or wooden boxes Packed in a metal container.

Allowed to put plastic containers or wooden boxes without packaging in a metal container. In this case, the thickness of the wall of the wooden box should be at least 10 mm.

Net weight of each seat must not exceed 50 kg.

Allowed the use of other packaging materials and types of packaging, providing protection bars against mechanical damage.

4.4.2 Each ingot is accompanied by a manufacturer’s certificate in Appendix B. the Certificate is packaged in a box with the ingot.

In agreement with the manufacturer in the certificate may be made to the trademark and the name of the customer.

4.4.3 Each delivery bullion must be accompanied by a specification, protected by plastic film, which is placed in one of the packing boxes.

Allowed to form a package of documents (specification, quality) and send it separately.

Note — by agreement with the manufacturer of each ingot may be accompanied by a passport on 4.4.4.

4.4.5 On each box (packaging place) be tagged or stamped with the number specification and number of the place if it comes not in the container. Boxes are marked according to GOST 14192 with the indication of manipulation sign «Fragile. Caution."

4.4.6 Each container and the box should be sealed or sealed by the manufacturer.

5 acceptance Rules

5.1 the Ingots are presented to the receiving parties. The party shall consist of ingots of one heat. The weight of the batch shall not exceed 100 kg.

5.2 determination of the chemical composition of the silver bullion cast performance from the manufacturer is carried out on any two bars from the party (bottoms). A sample taken from two opposite diagonal corners by segments, cutting or drilling.

Allowed sampling in mid-spill bottoms.

5.3 determination of the chemical composition of silver in stamped ingots of execution carried out on samples taken from each heat prior to casting or cast workpiece. The sample is selected from two opposite ends of cast billet by segments, cutting or drilling. Allowed sampling of the ingots for 5.4.

Can be applied other rules of sampling does not reduce the representativeness of the sample.

The manufacturer guarantees the silver content in the ingot according to the requirements of 4.2.1.

5.4 If necessary, the chemical speciation of silver from the customer can be carried out on samples taken from any two bars of the party (bottoms) by drilling in the opposite corners of the ingot to a depth equal to half the thickness of the ingot. For bars less than 3 mm thick breakdown may be the ingot or part of it.

5.7 quality Check of packing (4.4), including documentation, are subjected to 100% parties bars.

5.8 Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of the chemical composition (4.2.1) the analysis is repeated on another sample selected from the same batch. The results of the repeated checking are final and apply to the entire party.

5.9 If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition of silver from the manufacturer and the customer to carry out the arbitration the analysis of the sample, which is taken in the manner prescribed in 5.2 and 5.3, and stored at the factory for at least three months from the date of shipment.

6 Methods to control
