Fitting end, attachable capillary soldering soft or hard solder, for copper pipes» (EN 1254−1:1998 «Copper and copper alloys — Plumbing fittings — Part 1: Fittings with ends for capillary soldering or capillary brazing to copper tubes», NEQ) regarding the chemical composition of major brands of solders

5 INTRODUCED FOR THE FIRST TIME

Information about the changes to this standard is published in the annually issued reference index «National standards», and the text changes and amendments — in monthly indexes published information «National standards». In case of revision (replacement) or cancellation of this standard a notification will be published in a monthly information index «National standards». Relevant information, notification and lyrics are also posted in the information system of General use — on the official website of the Federal Agency for technical regulation and Metrology on the Internet

1 Scope

This standard covers solders for capillary soldering of fittings from copper and copper alloys, intended for connecting copper tubes manufactured according to GOST R 52318, used in drinking water systems, hot and cold water, water (steam) heating, cooling, sewage, water treatment plants and gas supply.

The standard specifies the chemical composition of low-melting solders for low temperature soldering, srednebelaya solders for high temperature soldering and physico-mechanical properties of solders.
