The tensile test is carried out according to GOST 10006 for short or long longitudinal specimens.

7.7 testing the flattening of each selected tube (the Bay) cut off one sample.

Test flattening is carried out according to GOST 8695.

7.8 Test tubes hold one of the following methods:

— eddy-current control according to the method agreed upon by the manufacturer and consumer;

hydraulic pressure from 4.5 to 5.5 MPa (50 kgf/cmГОСТ Р 54158-2010 Трубки из меди и медных сплавов тонкостенные. Технические условия) for 10 s according to GOST 3845;

— pneumatic pressure from 0.65 to 0.80 MPa (7−8 kgf/cmГОСТ Р 54158-2010 Трубки из меди и медных сплавов тонкостенные. Технические условия) for 5 s in a tub filled with water, with no leakage of air from the tube.

Test method for tightness chosen by the manufacturer.

Testing hydraulic and pneumatic pressure is designed to determine the defects of the tube wall and should not be considered as tests of strength or allowable working pressure.

7.9 For the analysis of the chemical composition of each selected tube (coils) cut one sample.

Sampling for chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 24231.
