1 Scope

This standard applies to seamless hot deformed steel pipes for welded steel constructions according to GOST 23118 operated in non-aggressive environments, high and normal level of responsibility the churchyard 27751.

4 Assortment

4.1 Dimensions

4.1.1 Pipes made of an external diameter of from 45 to 550 mm and wall thickness from 3.5 to 40.0 mm regular accuracy of manufacturing, in accordance with the size range according to GOST 32528.

4.1.2 as agreed between the manufacturer and the customer pipe is manufactured in sizes that are not specified in this standard.

4.1.3 by agreement between the manufacturer and the customer pipe manufacture manufacturing high precision in outside diameter and (or) wall thickness.

4.2 Length

4.2.1 the length of the pipe manufacture:

a) of random length in the range from 3.0 to 12.5 m;

b) measuring length within off-gage length;

in) dimensional length within off-gage length with an allowance for each cut of 5 mm.

4.2.2 as agreed between the manufacturer and the customer is allowed to produce pipe lengths and dimensional length not covered in this standard.

4.2.3 by agreement between the manufacturer and the customer is allowed to produce pipes dimensional, with an allowance for each cut is not covered by this standard.

4.3 Classes of strength


Tubes produce strength classes: S235, S245, S255, S275, S285, S345, S375, S440, and S390.

4.5 the Information provided in the order

4.5.1 When ordering pipe manufactured under this standard, the customer must specify in the order the following mandatory requirements:

a) designation of this standard;

b) pipe size (outside diameter and wall thickness) (see 4.1.1);

C) the type of length (random, dimensional, dimensional), and the specific length for pipes measuring and multiple gauge length (see 4.2.1);

g) strength class (see section 4.3).

4.5.2 If necessary, the customer may specify in the order the following requirements:

a) mass fraction of molybdenum 0,12%-0,15% for strength classes S235, S245, S255, S275, S285, S345 and S375 (see 5.2.1, table 1, footnote 4);

b) mass fraction of sulphur not more than 0,010% and phosphorus not more than 0.015% FS (see 5.2.1, table 1, footnote 4);

C) mass fraction of nitrogen of not more than 0,010% (see 5.2.1, table 1, footnote 8);

d) testing the impact strength for pipes with a wall thickness of 5.0 mm or more at one of the temperatures: minus 20 °C, minus 40 °C minus 60 °C (see 5.3, table 4, footnote 1);

d) testing the impact strength after mechanical aging pipes with a wall thickness not less than 5.0 mm (see 5.3, table 4, footnote 1);

e) the control of the macrostructure of metal pipes with a wall thickness of not less than 12.0 mm (see 5.4);

W) bend test (see 5.5);

and) non-destructive defectoscopy of pipes with outer and inner surfaces for detection of longitudinal defects [see listing a) 5.8];

K) non-destructive defectoscopy of pipes with external and internal surfaces to detect longitudinal and transverse defects [see listing b) 5.8];

l) non-destructive defectoscopy of pipes with wall thickness of 5.0 mm St to identify bundles [see listing in) 5.8];

m) supply pipes with a temporary outer protective coating (see 5.10.2).

m) supply pipes melting one (see 7.1).

4.5.3 If necessary, between the customer and the manufacturer can be agreed and specified in the order, the following requirements:

a) sizes not covered by this standard (see 4.1.2);

b) increased manufacturing accuracy of outer diameter and (or) the wall thickness (see 4.1.3);

in) the measuring length or the length is a multiple dimensional, not required by this standard (see 4.2.2);

g) length dimensional, with an allowance for each cut is not covered by this standard (see 4.2.3);

d) heat treatment of pipes of a certain type and mode (see 5.1.4);

e) the carbon content is not more than 0,17% for strength classes S345, S375, S390 (see 5.2.1, table 1, footnote 2);

g) the norm of toughness and (or) temperature of tests not covered by this standard (see 5.3, table 4, footnotes 3 and 4);

and) offset limit deviation of the outer diameter and (or) wall thickness (see 5.6.2);

K) higher limit deviation of standard length (see 5.6.4);

l) finishing of ends of tubes of the types of FC, FP or PS according to GOST R 55942 (see 5.9.2);

m) finish of pipe ends not included in the GOST R 55942 (see 5.9.3);

n) trim the ends of the pipes with wall thickness of 20.0 mm and more autogenous, plasma cutting or hot cutting saw (see 5.9.4);

p) additional requirements according to GOST 10692 labeling and (or) packaging (see 5.10.3);

R) method of nondestructive flaw detection monitoring and (or) another level of acceptance (see 8.11).

5 Technical requirements

5.1 production Method

5.1.1 the Steel used for the manufacture of pipes, shall be completely limp.

5.1.2 For the production of pipes to be used rolled, forged or concast billet. Allowed the use of ingots, melted electroslag remelting.

5.1.3 Pipes shall be seamless and manufactured by hot deformation method.

5.1.4 Pipe supply without heat treatment or after heat treatment.

When carrying out heat treatment of the tubes the type and mode of heat treatment chosen by the manufacturer subject to the requirements of this standard, if agreed between manufacturer and customer has not agreed to conduct the heat treatment of a certain type and mode.

5.2 Chemical composition

5.2.1 Chemical composition the steel must conform to table 1.
