Non-destructive testing of metals

One of the ways of determination of material properties is non-destructive testing of metals - OKS 77.040.20. In this case, more specific methods of carrying out this type of control are also defined by a number of GOSTs (both current and replaced). As for nondestructive testing of welded joints, they are considered a separate document. The main task of all the known methods is to detect defects and determine the material properties without damaging the integrity of its structure.
