Alloy 01Cr18M2T-VI refers to chromium steel of ferrite class. It is melted in vacuum induction furnaces in accordance with the following specifications: 14-1-3996-85; 14-1-3547-83; 14-3-1275-83. It is used in the production of welded chemical equipment operating in highly aggressive media (in hydrochloric, phosphoric, sulfuric acid solutions, halocarbon acids, etc.) at temperatures up to 300 °C and pressures up to 5 N/mm². Welding
Alloy 01X18M2T-VI is welded by manual and automatic welding. For manual arc welding electrodes of OZL-24 brand with a rod of steel 02Х17Н14С4 are used. For argon-arc automatic and manual arc welding suitable wire of steel Св-01Х25М2Т-VI. To protect the welds from intergranular corrosion, it is necessary to apply a final heat treatment after welding. Hardening
