Technical characteristics
03N15K10M5F5-ID martensitic alloy does not contain titanium and is produced in accordance with the specifications 14-1-5258-94 and 14-1-5201-93. It is melted in vacuum induction furnace and subjected to vacuum arc remelting. It is used in production of high-speed massive flywheels, large-sized heavily loaded parts, bolts, axles, bandages and shafts.

Processing
The following rolled products are produced: rounds, tubes, wires, sheets and strips. For hot forging, rolling and forging, the temperature is reduced from 1170°C to 900°C. This steel is relatively easy to cut. It is welded by automatic and manual argon arc welding. In manual arc welding, electrodes having a wire rod of Sv-OZN15K10M5F5-ID are used.
