CuNiBeTi is a heat-resisting bronze alloyed with beryllium. It does not spark at impact. Manufacture of alloy is specified by GOST 48 — 21 — 92. Combination of high physical, mechanical properties make welding electrodes of bronze CuNiBeTi the most durable.
Casting-technological characteristics of alloy
1) Temperature of hot working is 800 — 950 °C;
2) Annealing temperature is 750 °C.
CuNiBeTi hardness, deformable alloy HB 10 -1 = 150 MPa.
CuNiBeTi hardness, annealed alloy HB 10 -1 = 80 MPa.

Bronze mill-products of this grade are widely used in mechanical, electrical, instrument engineering. Welding electrodes of beryllium bronze can withstand a great number of welds, due to high elastic module (hardness HB > 210), resistance to reversal of stress, high softening temperature (T=550°C), good thermal and electrical conductivity.
